Questions Regarding Grounding Bedsheets

What is a grounding bed sheet, and how does earthing work?

A grounding bed sheet is a specially woven bedding infused with pure silver conductive fibers. It connects your body to the earth’s natural negative electric charge via a grounding cord. Modern daily life leaves the human body with excess positive charge and free radicals; earthing allows free electrons from the earth to flow into your body, balancing bioelectricity, neutralizing free radicals, and supporting natural body repair, better sleep and physical relaxation.

Do I need a grounded wall outlet to use it?

Yes. A standard properly grounded 3-prong wall outlet is the most convenient and recommended way to connect your grounding sheet. The grounding port in the outlet links directly to the earth, delivering stable earthing connection for daily use.

Can I use it if my house has no proper household grounding?

Absolutely yes. If your home lacks grounded outlets, you can use an alternative outdoor grounding method: connect the grounding cord to a metal grounding rod inserted into outdoor soil, or attach it to a grounded metal water pipe. These outdoor solutions provide the same effective earthing effect as wall outlets.

Do I need to touch the sheet directly with my skin to work?

Direct skin contact is ideal for the best and fastest results, such as arms, legs, hands or feet touching the fabric. Thin natural fiber fabrics (cotton) between your skin and the sheet still allow weak conduction, but thick bedding layers will block the earthing effect completely.

Can I put a regular fitted sheet over the grounding sheet?

It is not recommended. Adding a regular fitted sheet on top creates a barrier that blocks conductive connection. For normal use, place the grounding sheet directly on your mattress and sleep on its surface directly.

Is earthing bedding safe with electricity? Will it cause electric shock?

Completely safe with zero electric shock risk. The grounding port only connects to the earth’s ground line, not live current. The sheet only conducts gentle natural earth electrons, no household AC electricity passes through the fabric. It is non-conductive to harmful current and safe for long-term overnight use.

How do I wash and clean the grounding bed sheet?

Disconnect and unplug the grounding cord first before cleaning. Hand wash or gentle machine wash in cold or lukewarm water (below 30°C). Lightly soak and wash softly, rinse thoroughly, then air dry naturally to protect the silver conductive fibers. Clean regularly to remove sweat and body oil for stable conductivity.

Can I machine wash it? What detergent should I avoid?

Gentle cycle machine wash is allowed. Avoid bleach, strong alkaline detergents, fabric softeners, starch, and antibacterial additives. These harsh chemicals will damage silver fibers, reduce conductivity and shorten service life. Use mild, neutral laundry detergent only.

Will the silver fiber wear off or lose conductivity after repeated washing?

High-quality integrated silver fiber weaving technology prevents silver from falling off easily. With correct washing methods (mild detergent, low temperature, no harsh chemicals), conductivity remains stable after long-term repeated washing. Rough washing, high temperature or chemical additives will gradually weaken conductivity.

How long does a grounding sheet last? What’s the service life?

With daily proper use and standard gentle care, the average service life is 50-80 times washing. Frequent heavy washing, high-temperature cleaning or long-term sun exposure will shorten its lifespan. The fabric and conductive performance will slowly degrade over time with daily use.

Can I dry it in a dryer or expose it to the sun?

Tumble drying with high heat is not allowed. Long-term direct strong sunlight exposure is also not recommended, as UV rays and high heat damage silver fibers and accelerate aging. It is best to hang flat in a cool, well-ventilated place for natural air drying.

Questions Regarding Grounding Feet/Desk Mat

What exactly is a grounding feet/desk mat?

A grounding feet/desk mat, also called earthing feet/desk mat, is made of conductive PU leather and SBR. It is designed to connect the human body to the Earth’s natural negative electrical potential, allowing the body to discharge accumulated positive charge, static electricity and free radicals, restore the body’s natural electrical balance.

How does a grounding feet/desk mat work in detail?

The mat contains integrated conductive carbon particles, forming a continuous conductive network inside. When your bare skin touches the mat surface, and the mat is connected to the household reliable grounding system via the included grounding cord, the human body automatically exchanges electrons with the earth. It neutralizes excess positive ions, reduces electromagnetic field burden and relieves sub-health caused by long-term EMF exposure and static buildup.

Where can I use the feet/desk grounding mat?

Suitable for: Office under desk, home study, bedroom beside bed, sofa foot/desk rest, computer workstation, fitness rest area.

Applicable crowd: office workers, long-time computer users, insomniacs, the elderly, people with easy body static and leg soreness.

Must I use bare feet/desk? Can I wear socks, slippers or shoes?

Best effect: direct barefoot/desk contact with the mat surface.

Allowed: thin pure cotton single-layer socks (still conductive).

Not recommended: thick cotton socks, wool socks, slippers with thick sole, leather shoes, sneakers, these completely isolate conductivity and make the grounding function invalid.

Can I use it while sitting on an office chair, not standing?

Yes. You only need to place both feet fully flat on the mat surface while sitting; no need to stand. Long-time sitting use is the most common way for office workers.

How to correctly connect the grounding feet/desk mat step by step?

Firstly, insert the snap connector of the grounding cord into the reserved metal button on the mat.

Secondly, insert the other end of the grounding plug into the ground hole of standard 3-prong wall socket.

Thirdly, place feet directly on the mat, keep skin contact, start normal use.

Finally, no battery, no charging, no extra power supply needed.

Is it safe to use? Is there any electric shock risk?

Extremely safe. The mat only conducts earth natural weak static current and biological micro-current, no access to 220V live wire. It only releases redundant charge of human body, will not lead to electric shock, leakage or current surge.

How to clean the grounding feet/desk mat correctly?

Daily cleaning: Wipe the surface with soft damp cloth or paper towel.

Slight dirt: use neutral mild detergent diluted with water to wipe.

Can I wash the mat with water or machine wash it?

Do not machine wash, do not soak in water for a long time. A small amount of water wiping is okay; long-time soaking will penetrate into the inner conductive layer and affect conductivity and service life.

Frequent wiping and cleaning, will it affect grounding function?

Daily normal wiping and dust removal will not affect conductive performance. Only avoid scratching, cutting and long-time soaking to keep stable function.
